Jessica Huyck, ACP, 2015 Member of the Year

Jessica Huyck, ACP

2015 Nomination Letters

I would like to nominate Jessica Huyck, ACP, as the SDPA 2014-2015 Member of the Year.  Since becoming a member Jessica took no time in jumping in and joining a committee, or shall I say committees.  Jessica is currently is the Chair of Public Relations Committee, Co-Chair of the Website Committee, Chair of the Brookings’ lunches, and Co-Chair of the Education Committee.

She has worked extra hard on the Education Committee to organize much of the seminars for the October and June, speakers.  Jessica also participated in the SDPA leadership academy this year.  Further she has worked hard as the Chair of SDPA’s Public Relations Committee to organize the Cookie for Clerks throughout the state as well as traveling from Brookings to take part in the gift wrapping in December, for the Children’s Inn, as well as other various public relations events throughout the year.

Jessica’s support and commitment to SDPA is outstanding and I am glad to know her on a professional level but also to have become a friend.

Jessica is a wife, a mother of two great children, and still finds time to give back to her community and be an active participant in SDPA, on top of also working full time, at the South Dakota State University.  I can think of no one better to receive the SDPA Member of the Year Award for 2014-2015.

I would like to nominate Jessica Huyck for Member of the Year.  Jessica is a tremendous asset to our organization.  Not only is she Chair of the Public Relations Committee but she is worked tirelessly on all three committees and her help and assistance on all of the committees is inspirational.

In additional to her committee duties, Jessica also participated in the South Dakota Paralegal Association’s Leadership Academy this year and organized the Brookings area monthly meetings.

Jessica has truly done a great job this year and is deserving of the Member of the Year.
